Bought a car last week with 12K miles and and the power window cap just broke off. Also spent almost 3K with extended warranty + still have acura warranty and was tired of getting passed around on the phone for 20mins with Ton Ronkin of Toyota where I bought the car. I guess I paid almost 3 grand for this extended warranty- maybe if my engine fails someone can help?

My experience was awful. I had to wait for over two hours to be serviced in the express department. I witnessed one employee helping most of not all the customers in order as the other service writers stood idly at their desks. The services writers that were standing at their desks ignoring customers. Time management and professional service are abysmal to say the least. How do you have three to four service writers who are supposed to greet and assist customers and only one working. Shameful and disgusting behavior. I will not be returning and I will share my experience about this particular dealership with anyone who is looking to be serviced by Toyota. Gladstone Toyota it’s clear your management is subpar as evidenced by the lack of professionalism out on the floor of this dealership.

Well, since toyota keeps asking me for my feedback I figured I might as well list it here since they keep asking but nobody listens. My routine 10k mile oil change was supposed to take 1-1.5 hours tops according to the lady when I dropped off my truck. I told them great, I'll wait in the lobby as I indicated in my schedule that I would be waiting. Nearly 3 hours later, the truck was finally done. however, when I got in my truck I found a stripped bolt for my skid plate and my trailer hitch cover. They somehow broke both of these, put on my floorboard and were on their merry way. wtf? After that, I then got a survey, so I let them know the issues I had..... then a follow up from a service manager asking for more details in order to make it right. I followed up on all the requests, as well as an incremental email asking why they keep wanting my feedback but never respond? Well here I am 3 hours wasted at the dealership, 3 responses to surveys and managers, but nothing in return. So I took 5 minutes of my own time not at their request to tell you all how much they SUCK as respecting your time and your vehicle. Please go elsewhere.

In June/July 2023 I leased a 23 Prius Prime. The salesman marked up the price by 5K. I asked the salesman why he was marking it up and he said “ because I can and if you don’t pay it someone else will”. Toyota of Gladstone reached out to me yesterday to pay off my 23 prime lease and put me into another 24 Prius Prime. I went into the dealership today 12-6-24 and agreed if you mark down the 24 Prius lease by the amount you bent me over for last year (5K) I will agree. I gave my receipt to the manager and explained my frustration. All I was asking was to make right your dealers mark up. There was a 2k dealer mark down already and I asked to increase it to 5K to make right the mark up I was charged last year. The manager pulled the “let me talk to the manager” routine twice but would not go to 5K. Todays salesman was very nice and relatable. There are plenty of dealers in the Portland metro area. Stay away from this one. They will screw you when it’s convenient but won’t make it right. Every other Toyota dealer in the area has been fair to me and I have bought a new Tundra since Gladstone bent me over. Cheers.

I had originally gone in for an interview and walking in, I was shocked. The establishment didn't have an open or welcoming feel. A lot of the sales staff was dressed unprofessional, and I saw one of the female managers, I believe Charity, and saw she was dressed just as bad as the employees. I walked right out. I would never work there, nor buy a car from there. Your employees are the face of your business and I wouldn't dare try working for such an unprofessional looking establishment, let alone buy a car from here.

After doing my research for a new Toyota I landed on Toyota of Gladstone for a test drive of a Toyota Crown Signia. I submitted a request to schedule a test drive and was contacted by Carl Chestnut shortly after to sort things out. Carl was super easy to work with over the phone, email and through their portal. I decided to put a down payment on the vehicle I wanted to test drive. I was able to complete a large portion of the paper work digitally. I continued doing my research on my end, and looked at a few other local dealerships, but none of them were close to the price of the vehicle I was looking at. When test drive day came, Carl and the dealership had the car ready for me, and had it held in the show room. After the test drive I was 1000% sure that was the car I was after. It was a busy Saturday, but I wasn't in a rush, and Carl stayed with me the whole time while we were getting things ready. Carl is a very personable salesman, and we had a nice conversation. When it came time to do the finical side of things I worked with Dusty Call. Dusty was again very nice and personable. We had a nice chat while getting the paper work going. I can't speak to the actual financing side of the process since I didn't do that through the dealership. But dusty did his due diligence for his side, explaining the steps and process. He also went over the extended warranty options/tiers and costs. I did decline, and I did not feel like it was a push or hard sell. I really appreciated that. It took a little bit longer than expected to get me out the door on the way home, but I was in no way bothered or disappointed in the time it took. They were fairly busy, but I felt like I was considered and attended too through the entire process. Even the Manager, George, who I met briefly was nice and remembered when I was initially signing in, that this was my first new car in 20+ years. Over all I had a great experience with Toyota of Gladstone. I was able to get an excellent price on the car I had researched for several months. And the whole process was essentially painless and mostly handled digitally before I even got to the dealership. I would highly recommend working with Carl Chestnut and Dusty Call for folks visiting Gladstone. I'm sure their other staff are just as good, but those two helped me have a great experience!

My experience was amazing. Great service from McKenzie and Victor. Really impressed by the quality of service. My car had to get serviced for the day and I was given a uber ride home and back to pick up my car. I was also given 2 free car washes after my car was given an inspection of course I came back for repairs. Also there is a nice play room for the kiddos and free hot beverages. Thank you Victor for making sure I was taken care of!

Service department sucks, had a female service representative help me and she kept on putting me on hold to help other callers and at the end of it, the call got rerouted to another male service representative and he said he'll get his supervisor and the call ended just like that. Toyota of Gladstone, Please let your service representative help out a caller completely before leaving and attending to other callers??? Completely unprofessional. It was a simple appointment that I needed.

UPDATE: Instead of addressing the problem or attempting to find a solution, Toyota of Gladstone refunded my order without discussing the issue with me. I, and many others, have had a terrible experience at Toyota of Gladstone. The employees are disrespectful, poorly trained, and lacked basic customer service skills. I do not intend to return. I called Toyota of Gladstone on 3/28/24 around 1 pm to get an estimate for installing a dashcam for my Tundra (which Toyota requires the dealership to install). The person I spoke with in the service department mentioned that one of their staff had installed this specific camera before and estimated the cost to be around $250-$300 for a couple of hours of work. Recently, my wife ordered me the dashcam for my birthday. She also ordered a park assist, which enables the camera to work when the car is off. Initially, I only got a quote for the camera install and didn't know about the park assist requirement. Today, I received an email notifying me that my shipment had arrived at the dealership, and I called to schedule an appointment to have it installed. The woman I spoke with in the service department couldn't provide me with the estimated cost or duration of the installation. Instead, she directed me to speak with a service advisor. Despite sitting in the same room as the advisors, she couldn't give me the information I needed without transferring me. Then she put me on hold, and the call ended abruptly. Over the next ten minutes, I tried calling the Toyota service department back three more times, and each time, I was hung up on again when transferred to an "advisor." The only time I was treated with respect was when I briefly dealt with a gentlemen from the service department. After the fourth time I was disconnected, he called me back and said he would try to connect me with someone named Jackie. The so-called "advisor" who answered the phone (didn't give her name) informed me that it would take 3-4 hours to install the "Toyota Dashcam", not including the park assist, although, she couldn't tell me for sure. When I mentioned that I had been quoted less than $300 for the dashcam installed for 2 hours or so of work a few months ago (I couldn't remember the exact amount), she laughed and said it would cost at least $350, which is what she said it "actually" costs for two hours of labor - according to her anyway. When I pointed out that it wasn't a Toyota-branded dashcam I was having installed, she then asked what brand it was and then suggested it would "probably" cost more because it wasn't a Toyota branded dashcam. It became clear to me that the representative had no idea what I was getting installed and didn't have any knowledge of the products being discussed even after having it explained several times. When I asked if she had my order pulled up or if she wanted me to give her the order number to see exactly what I was referring to, she said that it wasn't her job to look up orders and I could speak with the parts department "if I didn't know what I ordered." At this point, after spending over 20 minutes on the phone simply trying to get an updated estimate and schedule an appointment, I finally reached my breaking point and asked for her full name so I could tell the manager at Toyota who was responsible for me canceling my order... only to have the representative immediately hang up on me again. The fact that the employees at Toyota of Gladstone feel so shameless about talking to customers the way they do, hanging up on them repeatedly, and not worrying about the consequences, tells you a lot about upper management. Go ahead and read the other reviews about their service department, and you'll see I'm far from alone in feeling like this. I've never experienced such abuse and negligence before, especially when spending a significant amount of money at an establishment and asking for so little. I refuse to give this business any more of my hard-earned money, and I hope you take my advice or you'll regret it!

Alex in sales was wonderful to work with. Personable, informative, patient, and told some great stories! Seth and Kristen were also easy to work with and very personable as well. And shout out to Alissa in service who worked hard to make sure our vehicles were taken care of and that we had a loaner for the day! Great team and friendly, helpful faces. And the great thing, none of it seemed forced, but genuine instead. Thanks, y'all!!

It started innocently enough—a quick visit to Gladstone Toyota for routine maintenance on my 2015 Sienna. Oil change, air filters, nothing fancy. Tony in the service department said it’d take a couple of hours. A couple of hours. That’s what he said. But time is a funny thing, isn’t it? Hours passed, then more hours. By the time I realized something was off, the sun had dipped low, and a gnawing unease had settled in. I called the service department, expecting a quick update. Instead, I found myself thrust into a purgatory of hold music and static. Twenty minutes later, the line went dead. By then, it felt less like maintenance and more like a disappearance. Figuring I’d just grab the van the next day, I tried again. But the next day brought more of the same. Transfers, dead ends, promises of “hold for just a moment” stretching into eternity. And then came Darlene. Sweet, reassuring Darlene at the front desk, her voice dripping with sympathy. She swore she’d walk back to the service department herself and have someone call me within five minutes. Five minutes. That’s what she said. But minutes turned into hours, and hours turned into silence. It was around then I started asking myself the darker questions: Was the van ready? Was it even still there? Had it been swallowed whole by some black hole in the service bay, devoured by whatever shadow lurks behind the façade of customer service? Now, here I sit, still waiting, still wondering. Writing this is my only solace, my attempt to warn the unsuspecting. Gladstone Toyota doesn’t just waste your time; it devours it, chews it up, and spits it out, leaving you hollow and furious. Unless you enjoy vanishing into a customer service void where answers are myths and time has no meaning, stay far, far away.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! First time buying my own car all by myself and I was treated as if I was their own daughter. I have done the co signer and watched my parents buy their cars here too! Truly a family friendly and honest place. Thank you for making my first car purchase the best! S/o to the Service Team, even when I show up 3 hours early (perks of booking while grocery shopping lol!) for my appointment they still got me in and out!!!!

They pressured me into running my credit (hard inquiry) saying it's just to expedite the process in case I want to buy, even though I clearly said I plan to buy in cash and don't plan on getting a loan. They then asked me to sign the purchase papers even though I clearly said I'm not sure yet if I want to purchase. I had to ask what I'm signing because they don't explain what they want me to sign. They try to make me explain why I don't want to buy right away but it's as simple as I want to see multiple options. I don't like high pressure sales tactics!

Let me start out by saying that I love my new car. Unfortunately, the car buying experience continues to be stressful even though I purchased my car in early November. This is my first new car and I was extremely excited to finally, finally, be able to afford a car payment. We spent several hours discussing add-ons, loans, warranties and payments with the financial representative. We decided to put a little towards a down payment and the rest would be through a loan. During this time the rep. miscalculated the loan amount even though it was written for us to request, emailed to verify, signed off by the financial rep, and then the funds were accepted. We found out weeks later that he had miscalculated the loan amount by $3,000. I received a call that “WE” did the math incorrectly and there was an additional $3,000 required. At this point Toyota had already accepted the funds from the loan company so I could not increase the loan amount. They continued to call me requesting that I pay $3,000 with NO payment options. After I, obviously, expressed my frustrations, they recommended that I take out another loan to cover the expenses. At this point I do not trust them with a large sum of money and do not wish to go through all the headache of taking out a new loan. I offered to work with them, including making payments or paying half the amount. They did not offer any payment options and requested that I pay in full. I recently received a letter saying that I have 10 days to pay or they will take further action. TO ALL THAT ARE BUYING A CAR HERE OR ELSEWHERE CHECK THE FINANCIAL SPECIALIST’S MATH.

I recently went on a trip to Oregon and I had to take my Tacoma for maintenance. I figured I’d do it close to where I was at since I did not want to drive back home hundreds of miles with bad oil. After escorting myself to someone, I found myself being helped by Mackenzie. She was very kind and helpful, and made the process easy. She helped me get the service I was looking for done on the same day. She was also 100% honest with everything and it made me trust their department. When I picked up my Tacoma she even explained how they ran a diagnostic, so they can make sure there was nothing wrong with the car and I can drive back home safe 🙂. Mackenzie also provided some free car wash tickets for Washman stations. I will definitely be going back to Toyota of Gladstone for service, when I travel to Oregon again! Thanks to Mackenzie from the service department as well 💯.

They wasted 5 hours of my time and charged me $180 because I had a clunking sound coming from my suspension for a 4Runner that is still under warranty. They told me it was my CAT shield that was making that sound! I took it to another Toyota dealer and they fixed it under warranty and told me it had nothing to do with the CAT shield (duh) that is sitting 4ft away from any suspension components. I would give them zero stars if I could. Plus the service advisor was rude when I was there in person (I think the name was Jackie or something). They basically wasted my time, money, and did not do their job.

Buy from Ephrem Tekle! I never thought I’d be writing a good review for a car dealership, but Ephrem and his manager Tony Gatto absolutely went above and beyond to earn my business. They’ve shown integrity and a commitment to the customer that I’ve never seen at a car dealership in my entire life. This is the team that you’re going to want to buy a car from. What I experienced first hand at Toyota Gladstone, with the excellent treatment by Ephrem & Tony, is exactly what will continue driving customers to this dealership.

I had been a loyal customer of Toyota for years. While I moved to the US, I bought my first vehicle in Nov 2021, considering the build quality and reliability. I bought the ToyotaCare Plus and ExtraCare plans expecting a longer relationship with Gladstone Toyota and Toyota US. I had been servicing the vehicle as per the directions given by the service center which was marked for every 4 months or 5000 miles. However, when I recently serviced the vehicle at the end of the 3 years, I was told that I have only 2 more services available under my prepaid service maintenance plans. This is surprising. I was never told about the number of services, however they made me to service the vehicle. The vehicle was make to show the "Maintenance required" message by the 4th month. I have not received clarifications from the sales & service center. I have made a complaint against the Gladstone Toyota sales and service center in Portland, OR through the brand engagement team. [Update on 12/27/2024] The Operations Manager from Gladstone Toyota contacted and fixed the problem for me. Hence, revising my rating and removing the named references from the original message. Thanks Gladstone Toyota.

I'm updating my previous 5-star review after a concerning experience with my recent lease rollover. I brought my 2022 Tacoma in for maintenance with 3 months left on the lease. During this visit, I was convinced to roll over into a new 2024 Tacoma lease. However, after reviewing the contract, I discovered a $2,662 charge I wasn't made aware of. When I contacted the dealership to understand this charge, I was told it was "standard process" and dismissed with "you should have read the contract." The manager was unwilling to provide any detailed explanation of this fee or documentation showing where it was disclosed in my original lease agreement. Pros: - Good service department - Nice facility - Quality vehicles Cons: - Lack of transparency about lease rollover fees - Unwilling to provide clear explanations of charges - Poor customer service when addressing concerns - Significant increase in monthly payments without clear justification I would encourage potential customers to carefully review all documentation and get clear written explanations of all fees before signing. I regret that I can no longer recommend this dealership based on how they handled this situation.

Don’t expect basic communication when servicing your vehicle here. We’ve brought our Camry here a few times in the past couple of years for service. They’re never been great but today was probably our last visit. Dropped our car off for a scheduled appointment for a simple oil change. Gave them my contact phone number and let them know the primary phone on the account is my wife’s and she wouldn’t be available today so to please contact me on my cell phone. That didn’t happen and my wife had to forward me the text with recommendations. I approved (through their online service portal) the recommended air filter and cabin air filter. Although these are easy enough for me to do on my own, I didn’t want to deal with them so approved the dealership to take care of it. 6 hours later and 3 phone calls I made with no return call was enough for me to drive to the dealership just to find out if our car was complete since we didn’t get notified like they said we would. Apparently the car was ready 4 hours prior - but they decided it wasn’t worth notifying us. The air filter and cabin air filter that I approved to be replaced hadn’t happened and when we asked about it, they said the order disappeared for them on their screen so they couldn’t pull it up. Unorganized, no communication or return phone calls and the place was empty when we arrived for pick-up so really no valid reason for lack of effort on their part. I’ll drive to Gresham or even Beaverton to avoid this dealership going forward.

I bought my car two years ago here. Worst experience I've ever had. The salesman actually posted me on the head and said don't worry about the numbers we do the math so you don't have to hurt your head trying to think hard. I almost walked out. Then the warranty iis a joke and i broke a tire and called to see if my tire was covered with a warranty. The girl on the phone said it was completely covered, so i had it towed there and when i went to pick it up I was handed a bill for a large amount for the four tires i had to get. I told them i had been told it was covered and was told sorry if she didn't know but you have to pay. That was a year or so ago and i just had to buy another four new tires because the ones i got not long ago from Gladstone were totally bald. I feel incredibly ripped off. My car was brand new and only has less than 30k miles on it. Already blowing through a set of tires means something is wrong with the tires i was given.

I have never been more motivated to write a review. THEY DON'T PAYOFF YOUR TRADE VEHICLE. I am an attorney billing a client at $400/hr and they have had me on hold for 16 minutes so far waiting to talk to finance because they haven't paid off her trade, it's been over two (2) weeks, and the next payment is now due. My next contact will be to the Oregon Attorney General's office.

Kenny Khzam was great to work with. Their was no typical sales pressure just good customer service. Kenny made ever effort to make sure I got the right Electric car to meet my needs and price range. The whole car purchase process was a very positive experience at Gladstone Toyota. My interactions with John the sales manager and Tony enhanced a already positive car purchase experience. To complete the financing aspect of the purchase I met with Kenza Shaw. Kenza was very prepared indicating that the process would not take too long. She diligently walked me through the leasing terms and the benefits of an extended warranty. All in all it was a very positive car purchasing experience. And the all electric BZ4X car I bought is terrific. It rides so nice, has heated seats and heated steering wheel. I get to plunge it in at night and is fully charged in no time. My first road trip was to the Oregon coast and back. I had lots of driving mileage left on the meter. It liberating not being tied to buying gas anymore. I feel like I am doing something to protect the abate climate change. I am super happy with it all.

Man, oh man, this one is a doozy. We bought a Certified Used 2019 Corolla Hatchback at the end of July, got talked into buying an extended warranty (which we later discovered we didn't need) and took the car home on the same day I found it online. For the most part, the buying experience was fast and problem-free. Four days after we bought the car, the rear door panels on both doors popped out, and we couldn't put them back in. I called them immediately, and they told us to come in, but since we live in WA, I asked if I could take it to our dealership, and they said yes. Our dealership told us someone had removed the panels and must've warped them when they attempted to put them back on (there were "witness marks"). I called Gladstone and told them what was happening. After several calls over the course of a week and being avoided by Dan and Chris, I finally got a hold of Kyle. I'm attaching the text conversation to show how that went. After challenging my story with "I just never heard of a door panel being warped" Kyle actually told me that they don't dismantle the door panels during the 150 pt. inspection. Then Kyle was MIA. It took dealing with Cary to finally get things done, and the day I came in, I asked for him, but he never came out. The tech on duty remembered the Corolla and confirmed they DID dismantle the door panels as a part of the inspection There had been a problem with one of the locks. We bought the car on July 31st. They FINALLY got us in to fix the side panels on September 20th. Fortunately, they did not charge us to fix them, but we probably would've gotten rid of the car at that point. It has a weird smell that we still can't eliminate. I spilled a little water on the passenger seat and dark circles/dirt came up through the seat, and we can't get it clean to save our lives. We get it, the car was used, but they made it all nice and shiny and sent us home with a flawed car and seemingly tried to pass off damage they caused. And this is the icing on the cake: we just had our first real rain since buying the car, and now there is water trapped in the rear, driver's side door panel. We're draining it and figuring out how to fix it permanently since the window seal seems loose. I'm over it. I will never buy another used car from Toyota. This whole pre-owned Certified nonsense is a joke. Buying from Gladstone was a huge disappointment. Our ultimate warning is - have someone ELSE inspect the car. Take pictures. And if you deal with something similar, you have to hound them. They do not care to help once the car is sold.

We had a good overall experience and we ended up purchasing a vehicle from them. I will say that their "policy" of running a second credit check after we've already secured financing is complete BS. I totally understand and respect that businesses have to put measures in place to safeguard themselves, but one that is so negative to a client's overall credit is not a good look and frankly pissed me off. There are many other methods of verification out there but to make a client put in a "loan application" for credit verification is asinine. The fact I have only experienced or heard of this "policy" at Gladstone Toyota says that they are either unwilling or unable to explore alternative options. So, we caution buyers who have secured financing prior to their visit that a second hard pull on your credit comes with a high probability.

If I could rate zero I would. I did not buy a vehicle and will not. Worst customer experience I have ever had at a dealership. Told me one thing via text and email, then when I showed up they didn’t have the vehicle to see or drive (which I asked for). Too many sales people, no parking, aggressive, not personal at all, don’t listen, don’t understand what I want. I will never buy from them. Bought different vehicle from different dealership. Avoid these guys.

Yesterday I went for a complete tire change + alignment fix . Today I starting hearing a weird noise in my front left tire and I didn’t know what it was, I got out of the car to find out the front left tire was barely holding on , on 2 out of 5 bolts . This is unacceptable. If that tire would have flown out while driving on the highway I could have died .

Let me start by saying this, I do love my truck, and I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but my experience after the sale with Gladstone Toyota has been very disheartening, to say the least. It began with the finance representative (Kristen) advising me to buy a warranty in light of the recent recalls with the new Tundra engine and offered me "at their cost" a 7yr. 75k warranty for $2,200, I declined the offer but was still interested in adding one after the sale, so I researched warranties through many Toyota dealerships Nationwide and found the same 0 deductible platinum plus warranty for 7yr. 75k for $780 through Jerry at Midwest Toyota in Kansas. Just a note: Troy from Greenfield Toyota in MA offers the same prices. I ended up purchasing the 10yr. 100k for $1,545. If that really is Gladstone's cost for warranties, they are paying way too much. The next issue I had was with the title and registration. It took a month to receive my paperwork through the dealerships service VITU, resulting in my temporary tags expiring, and me needing to visit the dmv and purchases plates and registration or just park my new truck. I decided to purchase my registration so I could commute to work expecting to be reimburse for any double payment of title fees. Nope, I was not. What really compelled me to write this review was the lack of response to my emails (poor communication), I inquired about my missing paperwork, concerns, and other costs, emailing both the Title and Finance Representative, but received no response, so after waiting over a week I opened a case with Toyota. Finally, a manager from Gladstone (Rudy) reached claiming to want to make things right. He said because so many names were attached to the emails that everyone at Gladstone dropped the ball on responding to me, a poor excuse. Finally, regarding the high extended warranty price, Rudy said Gladstone just pays more for their warranties from Toyota than other dealers. So please, buyer beware, do your research! Their Cost: $2,200 Others: $780 He did promise to keep me updated on receiving my paperwork, my refund, and my spare key in four days, but I will wait and see. Update....Rudy and Gladstone reached back out to me! If they actually step up and care about me as a customer I will update this review.

Poor start...I work nights and got up early to get a common part (gas cap). I called the parts dept, they said they had the correct one for my VIN so I went down to get one. Got there and the parts clerk on duty said there wasn't one. Thanks for making my day longer...

What an amazing car buying experience. Everyone was so nice and accommodating from the door guy to the financial lady at the end. Thank you for making it an enjoyable experience 😀

If you want to have your time wasted as they try to rip you off for several thousand dollars this is the place to go.

i would put no stars if i could. they wouldn't even pick up my calls after countless days calling. The worst dealer i've ever dealt with. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE. they lied about having the car being crashed but the car has never been in a crashed. Where did they get that from? i have not gotten a response in text or any form of communication in over a week. I have no form of transportation to go to work and I have missed work for over a week. When I asked for a renal car, they reused it. I really have no way of knowing anything of what the heck is even going on. I am overfilled with frustration as I write this and for those reading, DO NOT GO HERE.

Purchased a lease 2024 RAV4 with Liz V and was advised that with the warranty purchased dents/cracks would be covered through them. Not even a week after having the vehicle I noticed a crack forming right behind the rear view mirror on the windshield. Of course I call to numerous different Toyotas and my insurance. And they say warranty won’t cover and it cost more than 2k to fix. I don’t recommend going to Liz win Gladstone or any of the sales reps in Gladstone. They will lie to you to get you out the store!! I should have never went to the glad stone location as a prior experience was awful and took two days just to sign papers!…. * Shows how professional they are and how terrible their communication is. I reached out per the review reply advised on 08/30 and by cell a few times with no response!!

Customer service was actually pretty great. My reason for the two star is due to paying for a service i didnt get initially. The AC was leaking inside the passanger foot well ( got new refrigerant & a valve replaced per what was on the recipient ). I came back a week later to have it looked at again. Technician mentioned it was his team that worked on it last time & that the issue would be addressed ( with hardly any info on my end as to what the issue was besides saying it's leaking.... followed by him taking my keys as if he already knew the issue ). I believe my car likley didn't even get any work done to it the first time. It was repaired within an hour the 2nd visit and after I suggested it was a blockage in the line. I presume they didn't prioritize my vehicle due to it having California plates and they may have figured that I wouldn't be back. I grew up in Milwaukie/gladstone so this experience was a let down.

I bought a car here a week ago and had service for it yesterday to install paint protective film (dropped off at 9am, finally ready for pick up ~530pm). It took an hour to get a rental after dropping my car off, purposely ignored when calling for pick up time, then was told an incorrect pick up time, they forgot to install film on door cups, and the cherry on top: DAMAGED my vehicle during service. Despite Steven my salesman being helpful with purchasing the car, my overall Gladstone Toyota experience has been extremely disappointing. Can not and will not recommend. Update: Kerry Copeland the Gladstone Toyota service director reached out to me and offered to “repair” their damage caused and I foolishly accepted. “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me” I trusted his word and unnecessarily drove 5 hours round trip back to Gladstone for this “repair” where the wrong red paint was used and the scrape is still present. Bravo Gladstone Toyota 👏🏼

I was actually turned away by a female sales rep when I came in to get an appraisal on my Toyota Prius that I’m trying to sell. It really seemed like I was a nuisance that no one wanted to work with. I left after the sales rep told me it wasn’t going to be worth my time, but another dealership’s sales person told me to check with Toyota since I was selling one of theirs and I came back to get an appraisal after all. The second time I came back, the front desk also did not make me feel welcome and I felt like I was a nuisance again. Ruben was very nice which is the only thing preventing a one star review, and gave me a quote for my car. Although the quote is comparable to others I’ve gotten, I will not do my business with this dealership because there’s something not right here. No one seems happy working here.

I recently purchased a 2024 Toyota Corolla from Toyota Gladstone. Purchasing the vehicle was a wonderful experience thanks to Carl Chestnut. The only thing that I didn’t like about purchasing the vehicle is that they washed it but they left swirl marks all over the vehicle. I didn’t say anything, but if you’re making a purchase here make sure they don’t do that to your brand new vehicle. I am mainly giving this dealership a one star because I have already taken my car there for service twice. The first time there wasn’t really an issue but my glove box wasn’t closing after the service, turns out that the cabin filter wasn’t put in correctly, and made me wonder if I could trust the service technicians at Gladstone Toyota if something so simple couldn’t be done. I ended up scheduling my vehicle for it’s 15,000 mile service at Gladstone Toyota once again. It was due for a multi inspection and tire rotation. They scheduled me at 4:20pm which is close to their closing time, 5:00pm- which I had no idea of, yet they could have told me about it. After I got my paper work I noticed that they didn’t do the tire rotation. I was confused and since they had closed I called Toyota Gresham and asked them if they do the tire rotation every time and they said yes. I’m just bothered that I took time out of my day to take my vehicle to get serviced and it wasn’t serviced all the way. I’m calling on Monday to see if I can bring it in to rotate my tires which is something that I really don’t want to do because it should have been done already. I’m really disappointed because I work for Toyota and don’t want people to see the Toyota name in a negative way. I’m only leaving this review in hopes of a better change, so this doesn’t happen to someone else.

I’m giving this review on behalf of my dad who just bought a car here. He was very happy with the customer service here. His sales rep was Bobby, who was very knowledgeable about the different models and quite service-oriented. My dad is very happy with the car too!

This place blew me away. My parents and I were out looking to get me a new car because unfortunately I got into my first car accident an it completely totalled my car. I was gifted my previous car for good grades I. High-school. Anyway, my parents took me to a whole bunch of dealerships an all of them either wanted way to much for a beaten up car or we're trying to get me out of my price range. I was ready to give up for the day whwn we went to Toyota of Gladstone. I unfortunately can't remember the lady's name that helped us look around for cars but she was absolutely wonderful. She wasn't like the other sales people that just wanted your money but was determined to help me find a car that will be reliable an affordable. This was also my first time having to get a car from a dealership. Any questions I asked she was more then happy to answer. I left that lot with a CH-R that I absolutely love. AND the autoshop people there are so friendly an get the work done!!

At my recent visit, service tried to up sell my service by $680. Recommend three services that had already completed before (at there shop). Also had hose that was not reconnected. This is the second service where something was not reconnected . I have had good service in the past not sure what changed there. I would be concerned someone else would not have noticed and either been charged a lot for services not needed or worse damage to the engine buy not reconnecting every thing

I took my Rav4 into the Service Dept. for a general concern about my radiator fan noise and got my car back and my radiator fan is not working entirely. I just needed help on what was happening and pinpointing where the problem was. I was fine with cold A/C during the hot days…now I have no cold A/C at all. Livid that I paid for my car to be worse than when it came in

I came in for my service appointment and was told they were a little behind. After two hours I got up to ask how much longer it might be. Tommy checked me in for my appointment but no one came to let me know my vehicle was done. Who knows how much longer I would have been waiting. This wasn’t a very good first service experience. Since my first visit, my 3rd service experience was the best so far. Great customer service all around from the gentlemen who checked me in to the one who completed the vehicle inspection and service. I walked in on a Thursday afternoon without an appointment and was told it’d be done within an hour or two but it was done within an hour! Thankful the service has only gotten better and not worse.

As an employee of Toyota, I never expected to have such an appalling experience at a dealership bearing our brand name. My visit to Toyota of Gladstone was a rude awakening, and if this is how they treat someone who works for Toyota, I can only imagine how poorly they must treat regular customers. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a lack of professionalism and courtesy that left me stunned. The staff seemed disinterested, and my questions were either brushed off or answered with vague, unhelpful responses. Despite identifying myself as a Toyota employee, I felt like just another inconvenience to them. Toyota prides itself on reliability, quality, and exceptional customer service. Toyota of Gladstone seems to have missed that memo. This experience was a stark contrast to the values we uphold at Toyota, and I can only hope that other dealerships provide the quality of service that customers deserve. If you’re looking for a reliable dealership that respects your time and treats you with the courtesy you deserve, steer clear of Toyota of Gladstone. This dealership is a glaring exception to Toyota’s commitment to excellence. As an employee, I’m embarrassed and disheartened, and I wouldn’t want any customer to go through what I experienced here.

Typical dealership experience, nothing stands out that would make me recommend them over other dealerships. I bought my 4runner from them, so I thought I would give them a try for a Land Cruiser, their trade in offer was $3000 less than the dealership I purchased from, which sold me the LC for the same price Gladstone wanted, just saved me alot of money not buying another vehicle from Gladstone. Moral of the story, shop around and don’t accept the first offer you get.
